Dell recently unveiled its newest laptop, the XPS 13, which we included in our list of the best laptops due to its competitive pricing against Apple’s alluring MacBook Air. Whereas HP Envy X360 13 2022 HP has unmistakably adopted the same strategy but goes one step further.
The Envy 13 x 360 is a 360-degree convertible 2-in-1 that is incredibly versatile and offers a beautiful OLED display choice for less money than the XPS 13’s high-end IPS variants. We like HP’s Envy range since it provides excellent performance for less money than many other high-end computers. Rarely have we encountered a product that provides this many laptops for less money. It has an incredible worth.
Price and Availability
This laptop model costs $1,200 and is the fully upgraded Intel version. The pricing ranges are not at all horrible. In contrast to the UK and Australia, where availability is non-existent, it is rather good in the US
Design of HP Envy X360 1
The HP Envy X360 13 inch is your typical laptop, available in the somewhat plain colors of black and silver. Its sleek, slender, and lightweight design, however, more than makes up for what it lacks in aesthetic appeal. Due to its slim design and 13-inch screen, which is perfect for a 2-in-1, it is highly portable.
With two USB Type-A ports, one headset (headphone and microphone combo) port, one USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port, one SD-card slot, and one adapter port. Its port selection isn’t awful either. However, it lacks the HDMI port that the 15-inch variant has; this design choice was probably taken to keep the laptop thin
During the HP Envy X360 13 review, the HP Envy 13 x360 performs comparably to other 2-in-1 laptops. Given that this is one of the tiniest laptops we’ve tested, it is more than impressive that it can compete with 16-inch 2-in-1 computers. The Core i7-1250U is handling more than its share of the load.
Because of its high benchmark scores, the HP Envy 13 x360 can easily handle numerous concurrent productivity tasks. While managing other chores, live streaming and movie streaming function nicely. Additionally, no problems are overheating while working or playing video games because of the efficient ventilation system; at worst, it gets a little warm.
Even while it doesn’t come close to the greatest Ultrabook or other high-end laptops, the sound quality is still quite good for its size. The volume is loud enough to allow for room-to-room audio.
Despite having an OLED screen, the HP Envy 13 x360’s battery life is quite good. It effortlessly lasted longer than nine hours on our movie battery tests and much longer when used for routine productivity tasks. Even better, the HP Envy 13 x360 charges quickly, reaching 80% in over an hour
We adored the HP Envy X360 13, which has an equally fantastic display, a more sophisticated design, and speedier performance. However, the Envy x360 13 is far less expensive than its predecessor, making it a more potent rival to the MacBook Air M1 and M2.
