The Grell audio TWS 1 true wireless earphones are the initial offering from the young company with Axel Grell as its founder. Axel Grell, who created some of the highest-quality headsets ever made during his time at Sennheiser, is a legend in the personal audio industry.
After quitting the organization, he created Grell Audio, a startup to make high-end audio more affordable. His first independent Grell audio product is the TWS 1. So, we’re eager to see what the $200 wireless earbuds can accomplish.
So here is our Grell Audio TWS 1 review–
Grell Audio Tws 1: Design and Features
In terms of true wireless in-ear headphone design, mildly fascinating means much more interesting than most. The TWS 1 is undoubtedly moderately intriguing due to its circular body, incredibly short stem, and beautiful blend of aluminum in a black-and-grey finish.
But the Grell Audio is easy to position securely and pleasantly because of some meticulous ergonomic shaping of the business side of the earphones and a large assortment of foam and silicone ear tips.
The TWS1 are sent in unbleached packaging that is eco-friendly and is kept in a charging case made of aluminum that feels wonderful in hand. The case has four more full charges, and the earphones will last for six to eight hours between charges. Therefore, overall battery life of between 34 and 45 hours is possible, which is not to be sneered at. The case’s USB-C input or a Qi-certified pad can be used for wireless charging.
For wireless connectivity, the Grell Audio uses Bluetooth 5.2, which supports the AAC, aptX Adaptive, LHDC, and suitable old SBC codecs. Once the audio data is on board, two custom 10mm full-range dynamic drivers transport it to the listener’s ears.
Audio Performance of Grell Tws 1
In terms of noise-cancellation, these earbuds are pretty standard; they won’t be included in our list of the best earbuds for noise cancellation, but they will undoubtedly be included in our list of the best earbuds.
Returning to the ANC will significantly reduce outside noise, but compared to the true professionals in this field, they fall short.
However, considering the TWS audio talent “better than average” would be vastly understating.
The tone is well chosen, impressively even from the highest to lowest frequency range, and always convincing. Treble notes hit crisply, while low frequencies are deep, detailed, and well-controlled on the other end. Between those two points, there is more than enough information to make the singer’s mood and meaning. So, unless you place equal emphasis on sound production and noise-cancellation, the TWS 1 merit great consideration.
Should you Buy the Grell Audio Tws 1?
Grell has considered price, functionality, and sound quality to produce an excellent first product from a developing brand. In particular, the price tag achieves a decent balance between announcing premium intentions and making it too expensive for popular casuals. If you’re looking for a new pair of true wireless headphones that you can customize to your preferences, Grell audio TWS 1 is a terrific place to start.
