In a 90-minute presentation, Apple covered the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, the Apple Watch 8 and two other updates to its wearable product line, and the upgraded AirPods Pro 2. That is a lot of product news for one day, and if anything, Apple’s drive to make its products even more indispensable connects all the new features.

Here’s a deeper look at everything Apple revealed at its Apple launch event on September 7.

So, what are the products Apple Launched at their event?

New Models of the Iphone 14 Launch

Apple iPhone 14 launch date is September 16 this year, and the pre-sale booking for the same already started on September 9. The Apple iPhone 14 will be available starting September 16 in all variations, excluding the iPhone 14 Plus.

  • iPhone 14

The iPhone 14 isn’t a significant improvement over the iPhone 13, which also goes for the new phone’s $799 price. However, Apple has switched to a 5-core GPU for quicker performance than the phone from the previous year. It still employs the same A15 system-on-chip as previously. A bigger sensor has been added for improved low-light photographs, even if the primary camera is still 12MP.

  • iPhone 14 Plus

Consider the iPhone 14 Plus an expanded iPhone 14 or a cheaper, not-as-fully-featured version of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The only differences between it and the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 are its larger battery and a larger 6.7-inch screen.

  • iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro

The fact that the predicted $100 price hike for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max hasn’t been implemented is undoubtedly the day’s biggest surprise. They will instead set you back $999 and $1,099, respectively. That’s pretty impressive, given the 48MP primary camera and significant camera upgrades in both phones’ 4-nanometer A16 Bionic chipsets. The notch is also gone, and in its stead comes a cutout with animations and notifications called Dynamic Island.

Apple Launch Event Commits Everything to Esim.

According to Apple, the US models of the iPhone 14 will not include actual SIM trays. The iPhone 14 will use an eSIM, sometimes a digital SIM card. Apple asserts that eSIMs are more secure and should make it simpler for customers to switch carriers. Still, it might be more challenging for those used to the simplicity of removing their SIM card and putting it into a different phone to switch services.

The iPhone 14 has Satellite Emergency Message Sending Capabilities

Apple has integrated satellite connectivity into the new iPhone 14 and 14 Pro for usage in emergencies in the US and Canada. Apple believes that if you don’t have service, you can send an SOS message to a nearby emergency service by pointing your phone at the nearest satellite. The function will be accessible for free on new phones for two years.

Apple Unveils Its New Apple Watch Ultra for Extreme Sports

  • Apple Watch 8

With this watch, which starts at $399 for the GPS-only version, progression rather than revolution is the goal. A new temperature sensor and a low-power mode that doubles battery life are significant updates for women’s reproductive planning.

  • Apple Watch SE (2022)

Apple appears to be copying the iPhone SE’s naming scheme by ending its less expensive entry-level smartphone with a year rather than a number. The most recent Apple Watch SE now includes low-battery mode and crash detection, and its starting price has been reduced to $249.

  • Apple Watch Ultra

Instead of calling its tough wristwatch the speculated Apple Watch 8 Pro, Apple has chosen a new name. Other qualities, such as a 49mm size and a battery life double standard battery life, are there. Additionally, Apple promises more accurate GPS tracking. The starting price of the Apple Watch Ultra is $799, which is less than the anticipated price of $999.

  • Airpods Pro 2

The $249 wireless earbuds receive a new H2 chip, a low-distortion audio driver, and a custom amplifier for better sound. Additionally, several capabilities, like active noise reduction, have been enhanced. Using the front camera, you can now create a unique spatial audio profile on your iPhone. Playback time on the battery is now 6 hours.

The largest Apple launch has concluded. The Apple event, entitled “Far Out,” introduced the iPhone 14 series and other new Apple products. This event was noteworthy since it was Apple’s first in-person live event since the pandemic started and streamed live.
