Every week, Realme makes headlines for a fresh launch. They introduced six goods across several categories in April, including the Realme GT Neo 3. Given that Realme’s GT brand is named after the motorsports industry, the new GT Neo 3’s emphasis on speed should not be surprising.
This phone is made for speed junkies, from the racing stripes across the back to the addition of the quickest wired charging available in any phone—an absurd 150W. Nevertheless, it’s a satisfying, well-rounded phone that checks off many boxes and only sometimes slams the brakes. Let’s find our Realme GT Neo 3 review:
Realme Gt Neo 3 Release Date, Price, And Colour Options
Realme GT Neo 3 price is $349 in the USA and available from March 2022 onwards. It is offered in three colors: Spring White, Nitro Blue, and Asphalt Black. For those who don’t want to draw too much attention, the black variation has a basic finish, while the latter two sport racing stripes are on the back panel.
Design And Display
Realme has consistently surprised us with its unique design choices. It’s a stylish smartphone with a GT racing-inspired strip running vertically across the back of the device.
The Full HD+ AMOLED display of the GT Neo 3 is unquestionably one of the best screens Realme has provided in the market. It is sharp, vivid, and well-defined. When navigating through news feeds or social timelines, the screen looks incredibly smooth and offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
When you turn the phone to the front, the massive screen with the selfie camera’s punch hole dominates the area. It boasts a screen-to-body ratio of over 94%, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. It also comes with gorilla glass 5. The power button is on the right edge of the phone, while the volume up and down keys are on the left.
Realme Gt Neo 3 Specifications
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, a 5nm chip meant for more reasonably priced flagships, powers the GT Neo 3. The phone performed exceptionally well in our benchmark tests, beating some Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones on the CPU-focused Geekbench 5 test, but performed lower on the graphics-heavy GFXBench test.
The Realme GT 3 Neo has three cameras on the back: a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 16MP camera with a punch hole in the front is for selfies. Both optical and electrical image stabilization is available for the primary 50 MP camera. Dual video, super macro, tilt-shift, and other functions have all been added by Realme to the GT Neo 3 camera. A Pro mode is also provided.
Decent Battery Life
A 4,500mAh battery is included inside the Realme GT 3 Neo 150W model we used for the evaluation. The battery life during usage had entirely satisfactory. A second variant is available in India and parts of Europe, which uses slower 80W charging but compensates with a larger 5000mAh battery. That is unquestionably the most interesting one, though. 150W is the fastest wired charging speed for a phone.
Should you buy realme gt neo 3?
Despite its marketing emphasis on speed, the GT Neo 3 is a surprisingly well-rounded package. With 150W charging and a premium chipset, it is unsurprising that it is speedy. However, it has more to offer thanks to its strong primary camera, good display, and stylish design.
However, none of these shortcomings should be deal-breakers, and the Realme GT Neo 3 is an excellent choice if you enjoy the racing stripe appearance.
