What is the Movie Candy about?

The movie Candy a true story-based film depicts the tale of Candy Montgomery, a Texas housewife who starts an affair with her best friend Betty’s husband. Betty ends up dead after confronting Candy about the affair.

On March 17, a teaser trailer was made available of the movie Candy. Surprisingly long for a “teaser,” it runs for about a minute and a half.

On April 13th, a complete trailer was released. This series focuses on disturbingly real incidents. The entire time, ominous music is playing, giving even mixing cool aid an evil feel.

The series’ tone is established in the trailer, but it’s also obvious that at least some of the episodes will be devoted to exploring what happened following the killing, as we see how the neighborhood responds to the news of Betty’s passing and how the police question Candy repeatedly.

Why and Where to Watch Candy?

Candy Netflix is not currently available. Hulu started streaming Candy on May 9. Candy has chosen a unique release plan, releasing one new episode every night for five nights. If you liked the first episode of Candy, make sure to check back frequently because the finale was available on Hulu on May 13.

Candy might be for you if you’ve been looking for another real crime period drama set in the early 1980s.
