What is New with Insta360 ONE RS?
You will get a lot of new features and benefits from ONE RS, such as a 4K boost lens, better battery, mounting bracket, and many others. The 1-Inch-Wide Angle Lens and ONE R 360 Lens are the same. Let’s see the upgrades.
4K Boost Lens
The old Wide-Angle Lens has been replaced. It takes more accurate 4K 60fps footage and 48MP images because of a bigger 1/2″ 48MP sensor. There are also two new unique modes: 6K Widescreen for ultra-high-resolution 2.35:1 footage and Active HDR for improved luminance in action videos.
Mounting Bracket and Batter
The Insta360 ONE RS battery has a 21% larger capacity than the ONE R battery. With a heat dissipation design, a fast release button, and a built-in windshield, the Mounting Bracket has been modified to complement the RS battery and is now easier to use.
Core
The all-new Insta 360 ONE RS Core introduced a particular processor with better in-camera FlowState stabilization and at least 50% quicker Wi-Fi downloads, and an additional microphone for better audio. The RS Core also includes the Quick menu and Instant Zoom.

Insta360 ONE RS vs GoPro
GoPro has been the most well-known brand in the action camera industry for quite some time. With the launch of the new ONE RS Twin Edition customizable 360 action camera in March, Insta360 is putting a serious challenge to GoPro. When fully built, the ONE RS is around the same size as a GoPro HERO10 Black, standing just slightly larger than its competitor. It’s listed as weighing 135.5 grams with the 360-lens pod installed. However, the kitchen scales put it at 124 grams, about 30 grams lighter than the GoPro HERO10 Black and the 360 GoPro Max. Insta360 ONE RS is light in any case.
However, the Insta360 interface does take a few moments to load and sync with the camera, so it’s not ideal if you would like to grab your camera and snap a photo quickly. When snapping pictures, it also has been noticed a substantial delay of several seconds has also been noticed, which meant that by the moment the picture was really taken, the subjects’ small details could be missed or fallen completely. Apart from these few drawbacks, Insta360 ONE RS would be a good choice at $549.99.
